What taurine is

What it is

Taurine is an essential amino acid for cats: their body needs it and cannot make enough of it, so it has to come from what they eat.

Why it has to come from the food

Cats cannot synthesise enough taurine. Whatever they get, they get from their diet.

What is in the jar, and how much you give

+Pets Pure Taurine is taurine as a powder, with a scoop. You add it to the food he already eats: 3 g a day for a cat of 2-5 kg, as per the label — ask your vet if your cat is outside that range or on treatment.

What we do not claim

We do not tell you what will change, or when. We have no data of our own and we are not going to invent it. This is a feed additive for cats, not a veterinary medicine, and it does not replace a balanced diet or your vet's advice.
